2017 Shortlist

The Cloud Industry Forum (CIF) and Cloud Pro have today announced the shortlist for the UK Cloud Awards 2017, having narrowed down the hundreds of entries to a select few.
The awards, first launched in 2014, celebrate innovation, entrepreneurialism and technical excellence from the leading cloud suppliers, technologies and projects in the in the UK cloud sector. The ceremony, which is being sponsored by T-Systems ScienceLogic, Ensono, Sungard AS, and TechData, will reward the best in the industry as chosen by a panel of expert judges. The winners will be revealed at a ceremony at OXO2 London on 15th March 2017.
Alex Hilton, CEO of CIF, said: “This is the fourth time that we have had to whittle down hundreds of outstanding entries for the UK Cloud Awards and this has been the most challenging year yet.  We are seeing phenomenal innovation and truly transformational use of Cloud services.  The depth, strength and maturity of the cloud industry in the UK is apparent.  Stand out categories include the Cloud first approach of public sector, innovative SMB plus large scale Enterprise migration projects.  It’s going to be extremely difficult to pick the winners in these categories and we would like to congratulate everyone that has got this far. I would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone that has made the cut the best of luck at the ceremony.”
Max Cooter, founding editor of Cloud Pro and head judge for the UK Cloud Awards, added: "Entries for the UK Cloud Awards have improved year on year as the technology has continued to transform the business landscape. When we started the awards, cloud technology was in its infancy and companies had yet to realise the potential benefits that it has to offer. That is no longer the case and this year’s entries have emphasised the outstanding work that vendors, suppliers and individuals have contributed to the UK cloud market. I would like to congratulate everyone that has been shortlisted and let everyone know that the process of choosing the winners is going to be the most challenging decision yet.”
